This beautiful Antique Victorian large locket has been modelled in Silver gilded in 9ct Yellow Gold and features incredibly intricate engraving front and back. The front features a large star-like design surrounded by floral patterns with the back also featuring a star-like design, floral depictions and a central Celtic-style knot.

The locket securely opens and closes and features two internal sections to house photographs of loved ones. The right section when open also depicts an engraving which reads the initials MGS followed by a series of dates ranging from 1840 to 1858.

A wonderful and impressive locket which is a remarkable piece of history and something to be treasured.
